This set of A to Z flash cards is a super fun way to introduce kids to some amazing animals from all around the world, as well as letters and numbers.
The set includes 36 cards - one key card and 35 animal cards made up of 26 letter cards and 9 number cards.
Each letter card features the letter on one side, in upper and lower case, with a close up of the animal behind it. Then, when you turn it over you get to see the full animal illustration with its name. The background colour of the card shows where in the world the animal comes from. The number cards work the same but have the same number of animals on them as the card shows - great for counting practice!
The cards can be used in lots of learning games, matching the letters, spelling words, finding items that start with the letters, and doing maths equations - a great way to learn through play!The animals featured won't be your average animal, but more unusual ones you might not have heard of before, including A for Axolotl, B for Blue Dragon Sea Slug, C for Cassowary, D for Dumbo Octopus and E for Echidna.
The cards measure 7.8cm by 10.8cm and come in a storage box. They are illustrated, designed and printed in the UK using sustainable card which is coated with a water based finish so that they are recyclable. CE and UKCA tested.
