Jollys comes to Thrapston!
Well Jollys new toy shop in Thrapston has had its doors open for 12 days now and the town is buzzing with excitement about us! We are really enjoying meeting customers old and new, showing off our toys and games, chatting to the wide-eyed children who come in and hearing what ideas people have about the shop.
Our shelves are packed with everything that we sell on our website plus some extras....like stacks of pocket money treats, everyday arts and crafts bits and pieces and a great selection of colouring and sticker books. Jollys has expanded it's range of games to include Orchard Toys and ZooBooKoo learning aids, plus a gorgeous selection of Jellycat soft toys for children and babies. The puppet range has grown because everybody seems to love them. We now have an even bigger collection of Sockette puppets and finger puppets including dinosaurs, fairies and pirates. Oh, and we have sourced a fabulous range of wrapping paper and cards with a vintage twist which are only £1 a sheet or per card.
Jollys Toys is a community toy shop and we strive to offer a range of toys, games and goodies which will suit every child on your list no matter what your budget. We stock lots of things ideal for taking to a friend's birthday party, and equally have a super selection of gifts which would be great as a new baby or Christening gift. Nothing is priced over £25 and most items are comfortably within the £5 to £12 range, as well as plenty for pocket money spenders under £5.
Soon after opening we put up a colouring and play table for the children to enjoy while they visit us. We're not fussy about them playing with the toys or altering the displays....we are a toy shop for children and we love it when they come in and visit!
Our opening hours are:
Monday to Friday: 9am-3.45pm
Saturday: 9am-1.30pm
We still deliver locally free of charge* if you place an order online. We've already had a few customers do this after leaving the shop and calling us back because they want to buy the same again for their friends' children!
Owner Charlotte is in the shop most days and can advise on gift ideas from birthdays to Christenings to new babies. She also has a good knowledge of the educational products that we stock and which ones to choose depending on the stage at which your child is.
